Iran, Conakry Guinea emphasize on stronger economic ties

Iran’s minister of industries and mines and his Conakry Guinean counterpart here on Wednesday emphasized on expanding economical, industrial and mining ties.
“Expanding economic ties between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Conakry Guinea considering the common interests both sides share is to the benefit of our two nations,” Ali Akbar Mehrabian said in a meeting with the visiting Minister of Mines and Geology Ahmad Kante.
Mehrabian pointed to Iran’s capabilities and stated, “Iran is willing to help Conakry Guinea in infrastructural fields such as power plants, transportation, road building and export of technical and engineering services.”
For his part, Ahmad Kante said his country had diamond and uranium mines and called on Iran to invest in his countries infrastructural development
