Iran exported $2.185 billion mineral and industrial products in the first two months of the current Iranian year (started March 20).
The figure shows an 8.3 percent increase in weight and a 36.6 percent increase in value compared to the same period in the preceding (Iranian) year.
The ratio of mineral-industrial exports to non-oil exports in the mentioned period has been 88.8%, according to the Ministry of Industries and Mines.
During this period 81.1% of the total mine and industry exports were in four groups of mine products worth $748.8 million over 34.3%, chemical industry products $677.3 million over 31%, regular metals $183.6 million over 8.3% and plastic material $163.8 million and 7.5% of the total amount.
In the aforementioned period the highest volume of exports went to five counties namely the UAE, China, Iraq, India and Japan
