Iran’s non-oil products export up 16% in calendar year

Iran’s non-oil products export growth rate was 16 percent in the previous Iranian calendar year (March 2007-March 2008), Iran’s Deputy Minister of Commerce Mehdi Ghazanfari said here on Monday.
“In 1385 (2006-7), $13 billion worth of non-oil products, excluding gas condensates, were exported,” he said adding the figure reached $15.1 billion in 1386 (2007-8).
Iran’s non-oil products exports growth rate from 1381 (2002-3) till 1386 (2007-8) were respectively 7.44, 8.28, 3.28, 5.9, 18.2, and 16 percent.
This official also noted that non-oil products exports grew at a rate higher than non-oil imports growth rate
