Arg gate ( Darvazeh arg ) of Semnan
This gate –way is located the cross road of Ayatollah Talleghani and Sheikh Fazlolah Nouri street in Semnan. Which is one of the historical , beautiful and worthwhile monuments of Semnan.The gate way of Arg has been established during the region of Naseredin shah Ghajar who have been governor during years 1300 to 1305 lunar hejira ( 1879 to 1884) in Iran .
The original building of the gate has been built by bricks with the high of over 7 m . one of outstanding part of this historical building is the significant door way which the historical legendary fight between Rostam and white satan depiciting with pieces of seven colored tiles . The doors of the gate –way has made by thick planks with iron spikes .
After the Islamic revolution this monument have been repaired and reconstruction by culture and heritage organization.
