Iran-Germany trade value up 12%

The value of trade between Iran and Germany in the first half of 2008 touched 2.121 billion euros, showing a 12 percent rise over 1.870 billion euros related to the same period in 2007.
According to IRINN, accounting for 10 percent of the bilateral trade, Iran exported 210.688 million euros to Germany and imported 1.910 billion from the European country.
Iran’s exports to Germany indicate a 6.5 percent drop and its imports show a 13.92 percent growth in the period.
Iran exported raw material, marginal products, semi-finished goods, semi-fabricated products, and animal-based food products and imported animal-based and vegetable-based food products, end products, semi-finished goods, and raw materials.
Iran’s exports of crude oil in the period rose to 22.254 million euros showing 74.8 percent rise against the same period in 2007.
