Visiting IRI's Minister of Agriculture Mohammad-Reza Eskandari met Kenyan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday.
Addressing the fifth Iran-Kenya Joint Economic Commission, Eskandari called for expansion of bilateral ties with African countries in all fields.
"Iranian government has focused on developing economic cooperation with the African states including Kenya in technological, banking and financial fields," he said. He also emphasized the high will of Islamic Republic of Iran on sharing the valuable expe rience with the African states.
Kenyatta, for his part, called for boosting the two countries ties in all fields. The Kenyan Minister also urged the Islamic Republic of Iran to establish a tractor assembly line in his country.
Kenyatt added that his country is ready to export tea, coffee and meat to Iran.
