Some 250 Iranian and foreign trucks enter Turkmenistan via Islamic Republic custom offices per day.
Announcing this, Iran's ambassador in Ashkhabad stated that of this figure some 50 trucks transporting Iranian commodities are offloaded in Turkmenistan.
Mohammad-Reza Forqani described Iran-Turkmenistan cooperation as favorable, expressing hope that bilateral ties would increase in all fields.
"Islamic Republic has four active custom offices on the Iran-Turkmenistan border including Bajgiran, Lotfabad, Sarakhs and Incheborun," Forqani concluded.
